PART 2: Written Reports

After every session I send you a full written report.  Reports can also be received as audio files for you to listen to.

The report outlines everything that was said in the session and highlights the key messages. Clients have often described getting sessions reports as, “…like receiving a positive school report as an adult that really boosts your confidence.”

The report acts as a really helpful tool to aid reflection, as it allows you to see your thoughts and feelings on the page, well-ordered and clearly articulated.

The report provides catharsis as you have evidence that you were properly seen, heard and understood.

Reports are also a great esteem building tool as they enable you to chart your progress over time. Many clients look back with relief at the amount of progress they have made since starting their first session. At the end of a course of therapy, you will have a series of reports that are tangible reminder that you have ‘done the emotional work’.

What are the benefits of getting session reports?
